It’s hard to say when I first started to notice what I ate…and when it seduced me. When I started to hunger for the knowledge of foods my palate didn’t even know it craved. When I grew curious about cooking techniques and preparations. When I first reveled in bringing pleasure and delight to those I fed. But at some point in my life, it happened. I fell in love.
The power of food – the memories associated with certain dishes, the back-stories, the history, the culture, the pure sensuality and joy of it – is what fascinates me and drives my desire to share it through the best way I know how. Simply put, this will be a place for all things delicious, and all the passion, surprises, and indulgence that come with it. A majority of posts will be about the great culinary finds I have had the fortune of stumbling upon. There is nothing I love more than a restaurant that is authentic, treats you to a true dining experience, and won’t leave you without lunch money for the rest of the week. Those are the gems I want to share with you, and those are the restaurateurs I want to applaud.
